Services and Support

The Equity Office also provides a range of services including:

  • equity/diversity training
  • disability support
  • conflict resolution
  • advice/support during the grievance process
  • a friendly and confidential environment for staff who may be feeling under pressure for whatever reason

EOOnline Training

Before before your first month at ADFA is up, please visit http://eoonline.uow.edu.au and complete EOOnline - UNSW's Equity and Diversity training.

Please note that EOOnline training is mandatory for all staff. Failure to complete EOOnline during your probation period may result in your probation being extended.

All staff are asked to complete Module 1. Managers and Supervisors are asked to complete Modules 1 & 2.

Please take the time to complete this basic training. It is important that you understand your rights and obligations under EEO and that you understand the anti-discrimination legislation that applies in the Higher Education Sector. EOONLINE has been developed specifically for this workplace and includes elements of Federal, State (NSW) and ACT legislation.

At the end of each module is a feedback form which you are asked to complete and return online. Receipt of your end-of-module email(s) will be kept as confirmation that you have completed the minimum requirements for equity and diversity training at UNSW@ADFA.
