Welcome to the web site for the School of ACME's Information Support Group (ISG). While this web site is currently under development at the moment you will soon find a range of information and services hosted here that relate to the infrastructure and support provided by the ISG.
ISG Notices Mailing List
ACME ISG is now running an opt-in mailing list to provide relevant IT notices to ACME staff and students. You should sign up to this list if you want to receive notices from the ISG about:
- Downtime with IT services, servers or software
- IT security advisories
- Information from software vendors for products used by ACME
- Other information about the IT services provided to ACME
Sign up to the mailing list from the ICTS mailing lists administration page.
- Enter your e-mail address.
- Click the "All" radio button.
- Click the "Go" button.
- Ensure the acme_isg_notices list is checked.
- Click the "Apply" button.
Please contact the ISG Service Desk if you need any help with this process.

We will be restarting some school servers during our next scheduled maintenance window on Monday, 29th September.
The following servers will be restarted at that time:
- Godiva
- Comp1
Users of any affected Unix or Linux servers should ensure they are logged out prior to the downtime. Please direct any comments or queries to acmeit@adfa.edu.au.

The IT Users Group page was updated to reflect the change in the nature of the group to the school IT Advisory Committee.

The web site was created. Sections have been added to provide some policy documents and the minutes from the IT Users Group meetings. A resources section has also been added to detail some of the IT resources made available by the ISG. The following items are now online:

- Details of the Sun Microsystems Online Courses that are available to the school
- ISG Operating Hours Policy
