UNSW@ADFA UAV in DSTO Trials

The School of ACME's UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) headlined the Jan/Feb 2007 edition of DSTO's Connections newsletter. ACME lecturer/researcher Matt Garratt worked in collaboration with staff from University of Sydney and DSTO to trial DSTO's LADAR (laser radar). The School's UAV RMAX Helicopter was used to carry out the trials, which proved to be a great success. In addition, work using the UAV was also featured on a recent episode of ABC television show Catalyst.
