Continuing Education Activities

The Unit has organised a number of professional and continuing education activities and a summary is provided below. These courses, workshops and seminars have been held at the Academy in Canberra and have attracted a significant proportion of participants from other States.

Some activities have been prepared for specific clients on special topics and these are indicated with the + in the listing below. Others, indicated by *, have been held in conjunction with specialist organisations; the Unit has prepared the programme in consultation with the organisations, handled the administration including advertising and registrations as well as providing some of the lecturers.

As most of the equipment used for demonstrations and for experimental sessions is portable, courses could be held in locations other than Canberra, if required. Further information, including samples of notes etc. can be provided on request.
