Acoustics & Vibration Unit (AVU)The Acoustics and Vibration Unit was established in 1988 by the University of New South Wales. It is within the School of Aerospace, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, University College located at the Australian Defence Force Academy. The mission of the Unit is to pursue excellence in teaching and research in the areas of acoustics and vibration and to provide community service in ways that are consistent with the mission and goals of the School of Aerospace, Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
