Welcome New Sponsors

ACME Racing is very happy to announce three new sponsors to the ACME Racing Team for 2007. Without the support from our sponsors our designs would not be realised and the project would not be sustainable. Two of the new sponsors have come on board as a result of the team exhibiting at the Avalon Air show earlier in the year. It goes to show that this kind of exposure is very positive for both the team and our parent establishments UNSW@ADFA and ADFA.

We would like to formally welcome MAN Military Vehicles Australia (MMVA) as a financial sponsor. They provide transport solutions for the ADF and in particular Land 907. MMVA is currently in the process of fulfilling the contract to deliver 14 Heavy Tank Transporters to the Australian Army to transport the new M1 Abrams Tank.

Matthew Maude of Performance Metals has also come on board with in kind sponsorship. Performance Metals specialise in wholesale and retail sales of metal tubing and sheet, and they stock and distribute material to Motor Sport, Aviation, Military, Manufacturing and Agriculture industries, as well as to the general public. Calm Aluminium has also come onboard as an in kind materials sponsor.

Calm Aluminium is a leading Aluminium supplier, working with Aerospace, Defence and Toolmaking industries. They provide both materials and product support, currently supplying aluminium armour plate to the M113 Armoured Personnel Carrier upgrade program. They too have joined us as in-kind sponsors.

Between Performance Metals and Calm Aluminium, the team’s material requirements for stainless steel, chromoly tubing, plate and round stock as well as both 6000 and 7000 series aluminium will be well satisfied.
