Located at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Canberra, UNSW@ADFA provides undergraduate courses to midshipmen and officer cadets as well as postgraduate courses and research opportunities to civilian and defence personnel. SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Applied Mathematics

A great opportunity exists in the Applied Mathematics group to teach Mathematics mainly to undergraduate students as well as providing supervision for research degrees.  Current research areas in the group include combustion and bushfire modeling, dynamical systems, nonlinear optics, dissipative solitons and industrial process modeling. However, applicants with an interest in any area of applied mathematics would be equally welcome.

This position commences in 2010 with a negotiable start date.
