National Tree Day - Sunday 1st August

World Car Free Day - Wednesday 22nd September
As the climate heats up, World Carfree Day is the perfect time to take the heat off the planet, and put it on city planners and politicians to give priority to cycling, walking and public transport, instead of to the automobile.

Walk to Work Day - Friday 1st October
WTWD is an event to promote regular walking and physical activity. It is an annual, national event in which the community can become involved in a healthy and environmentally friendly activity.

National Ride to Work Day - Wednesday 13th October

National Water Week - Sunday 17th to Saturday 23rd October
During National Water Week Australians are encouraged to Protect, Conserve and Get Involved in water resource management.
