Recently an "international adaptor" fused while being used by a staff member, causing a short circuit and potentially a fire. In the extreme, the person using the adaptor could have received an electric shock or could have been electrocuted. In order to minimise the potential for such an incident, please ensure that all electrical appliances are inspected, tested and tagged in accordance with the UNSW@ADFA Electrical Safety Guidelines |
