Visiting Fellows

• Dr Bob Hall, QEII Fellow, January 2006 to December 2010.
  Research interests: Australian ground combat operations in the Vietnam War, the Volunteer Defence Corps, threat construction and strategic dependency. Dr Hall will conduct research in collaboration with Dr Andrew Ross on combat data analysis of the Australian Army's involvement in the Vietnam War and confrontation.

• Associate Professor Hugh Smith, January 2007 to January 2009 .
  Research interests: The visit will enable the University College through the ADSC to retain the expertise of Dr Smith and to benefit from his high reputation in the field of Defence studies, and in particular personnel issues and political-military relations.
  

• Associate Professor Ian Wing, September 2004 to September 2009.
  Research interests: Australian defence and security policy, intelligence, counter-terrorism, special forces and mercenaries.
