For Distance Mode Students

Distance mode students will find a wide range of materials to consult from the ALL Unit's Online Learning Resources page.

The ALL Unit also offers individual consultations by telephone to DE students, on a similar basis to the face-to-face consultations we offer on-campus students, to help either in the planning of a written assignment or in reviewing a pre-final draft of an assignment. 

If you wish to arrange a consultation, please:

1. Please read this page.

2. Use this link to find and book a suitable consultation time with one of our staff.

3. Send an email to knowALL@adfa.edu.au with:

   "ATTN: [tutor's name] – Telephone consultation"

   in the message line.  Include the details of your assignment you want to discuss, and attach an electronic copy of your assignment draft for the tutor to read and discuss with you. 
   
   Note: We will ring you at the time of your appointment on the telephone number you gave us when you booked your consultation.

Please ensure that:

1. you are available at that number at that time, and that

2. you are at a computer with your assignment on view, and other relevant materials to hand.

If there is no consultation time available on the day and time you want, or if you have any queries, please phone (02) 6268 8454 or email us at: knowALL@adfa.edu.au. 

If you make a booking with us and then find that you need to change the time or cancel it altogether, please advise us as soon as possible, so that your time can be made available to other students.
