Announcment: Directorship of ACCS
After three successful years as founding Director of the Australian Centre for Cyber Security (ACCS), Professor Jill Slay has left her post to take up an innovative public policy role with the Australian Computer Society. Jill has led the development of new research work, new Master’s programs, and a new undergraduate curriculum in cyber security. The ACCS has achieved considerable public and scholarly impact under Jill’s leadership. From a staff of one in 2014, ACCS now has more than 20 staff, including adjunct lecturers in professional development courses. Jill will continue as a Professor in ACCS with a fractional appointment. The current Deputy Director of ACCS, Professor Greg Austin, will take on the Interim Director’s role until a permanent appointment is made.
