Dr Ben Turnbull receives grant to develop game changing defence capabilities
Professor Jill Slay, Director of the Australian Centre for Cyber Security, is delighted to announce that Dr Ben Turnbull has been success in receiving a significant grant from the Department of Defence to develop game changing defence capabilities. The grant has been allocated under the $730 million Next Generation Technologies Fund which is targeted at research into emerging technologies of interest to Defence.
Dr Turnbull’s project is aimed at automated cyber red-teaming; increasing capability through the use of automation on cyber defence systems.
Dr Turnbull currently has a number of funded research projects currently underway, including grants from the US Naval Research Laboratory to help address new challenges for TOR Hidden Services and privacy-preserving statistic collection.
