How to Register for a Professional Education Course
  1. Download the registration form

  2. Complete all details on the form and forward to the Business Services Unit by;

  3. Registrations will be acknowledged by email within 5 working days. If you do not receive confirmation within this time, please contact Business Services on

Payment Information
Invoices

Invoices will be issued once a course has been confirmed to run (usually within two weeks of commencement). Invoices will be forwarded by mail to the payment contact nominated on your registration form.

Payment

Payment can be made by Cheque, Visa card, Bankcard or Mastercard. We are unable to accept Amex or Diners. Cheques should be addressed to UNSW. Payments will be processed two weeks prior to course commencement and acknowledged by mail.

** Defence Clients please note that for amounts up to $5,000.00 payment by Defence Purchasing Card is preferred as required by Defence Finance Policy.

For amounts over $5,000.00 a Purchase Order number is required and also for any non credit card payments.

Cancellation Policy

Courses will be held subject to sufficient registrations. UNSW@ADFA reserves the right to cancel a course up to five working days prior to commencement of the course. If a course is cancelled, full refunds will be issued. If a registrant cancels within seven working days prior to the commencement of the course a 50% registration fee will apply.

General Information
Accreditation

UNSW@ADFA allows students who have successfully completed a minimum of 12 days of approved professional education courses to use those courses as credit in eligible postgraduate programs. For eligible programs, students enrol in a course in professional practice which has two main components:
• An essay in approved form to explore issues related to the professional practice of a relevant discipline: and
• Prior successful completion of 12 days of approved professional education short courses.

Attendance

UNSW@ADFA courses are open to Defence and Non Defence personnel. All attendees recieve a UNSW@ADFA certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the course.

Catering

Most course fees include morning and afternoon tea and a light lunch. Please check your course confirmation letter for catering arrangements for your course.
