Timetable Advisory Committee Terms of Reference


The Timetable Advisory Committee will act to give advice to the Rector and the Associate Dean (Education) on all matters dealing with the timetabling of academic courses.

The Timetable Advisory Committee will also be responsible for developing the conceptual/policy and operational aspects of the UNSW@ADFA class timetable.

The Committee’s principal objectives are:

  • To develop and maintain effective timetabling and teaching space allocation strategies;
  • To initiate and coordinate the annual UNSW@ADFA timetable;
  • To make recommendations to the Associate Dean (Education) on discipline exclusions on the basis of enrolment trends;
  • To establish and monitor common timetabling blocks reflecting discipline exclusions; and
  • To ensure the allocation of physical teaching spaces meet the needs of staff by seeking and analysing feedback.
