The TLC Learning Exchange:
The Learning Exchange is a TLC initiative that provides an alternative to the traditional seminar format. It could even be regarded as a ‘non-seminar’ that provides a short burst of inspiration from a presenter (five minutes only) that provides practical tips for responding to teaching and learning hot spots. We invite you to share your successes in learning and teaching and come to learn from other innovative colleagues. Presenters are strictly limited to five minutes. Then the floor is open for a focused discussion over coffee, tea and cake.
***Morning Tea will be provided***
RSVP is not required for attendance, if you have any queries please contact James Connor, School of Business, James.Connor@adfa.edu.au, or 88799.

Dr Craig Stockings (HASS) - Captivating the captured audience: engaging ambivalent students
Dr Stockings will talk briefly about his experiences in teaching Strategic Studies, one of the two 2nd/3rd year ‘directed studies’ subjects at ADFA. In particular he will discuss some of the strategies employed (both successful and unsuccessful) to try and overcome the natural barriers between conscripted students and their lecturer.
