Operating as part of the UNSW Library system, the Academy Library has exceptional print and electronic scholarly collections. Reflecting the teaching and research specialisations at UNSW Canberra, the Academy Library boasts particularly strong collections in the following subject areas.
Outstanding collections in the interrelated areas of peacebuilding, state-building, nation-building, post-conflict recovery, and fragile states.
Reflecting the interests of both our Engineering and Business Schools, the Library provides strong collections in project management, particularly in regard to the defence environment.
One of the best collections in the southern hemisphere of print and online resources on terrorism/counter-terrorism and national intelligence; including a noteworthy collection on Islamic extremism.
UNSW Canberra teaches general and specialised Logistics courses and the Academy Library has built up a significant collection of resources to support this teaching and research area. The Logistics collection incorporates military and humanitarian logistics so aligns well with the Academy Library’s other collections of excellence in Defence and Peacebuilding.
