Biographical Note
Major W. M. Robertson, served in the 15th Regiment Native Infantry, and died on the 24th April 1825 at about 42 years. His remains lie interred in the burying ground attached to Stone House in the Nilgiri Distric, India.

Robertson, Army of East India Company; signed by the Duke of Wellington, Earl Cathcart, Lord Cholmondeley, Henry Addington, Viscount Sidmouth and William Hamilton. Also includes the Seal of the Lords of Justice, and the following statement "with Army with East Indies only" on the front and back of the Commission, 10 October 1821
