UNSW Canberra Space is proud to be sponsoring Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo

The screening of Mission Control will feature a Q&A with retired Brigadier General USAF, CAPCOM NASA, Apollo 16 Astronaut and Moonwalker, Charlie Duke and Apollo Mission Control Flight Director Gerry Griffin who both star in the film, and the filmmakers, LIVE ON STAGE!

The evening will be hosted by acclaimed Australian Astrophysicist Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith. 

This special event will include a special tribute to the Commander of Apollo 17, Captain Gene Cernan, who also stars in the movie and who toured Australia in 2016 to promote the award-winning film about his life, The Last Man on the Moon.
