Description of Work: 

Objectives:

The project is concerned with the experimental material characterisation and micromechanical modelling of the reactive powder concrete reinforced with randomly oriented short fibres. The modelling will involve identification of the input parameters and development of the relevant testing procedures of the material characterisation. The model validation will be performed by comparison of the theoretical/numerical predictions and experimental results obtained for the structural components – demonstrators.

  • Development of micro-mechanical (FE) model for the reactive powder
  • concrete reinforced with randomly oriented short fibres
  • Specimens design, manufacture and testing
  • FE analysis of the structural components - demonstrators (beams)
  • Demonstrator manufacture and testing
