As a student you will have access to the Academy Library, Indoor sports centre, bookshop, coffee shop, bank, prayer room and modern open study areas. Plus we have a range of support services to help you with every aspect of your study.
Support Services for Postgraduate Coursework students
At the ALL unit we provide students with opportunities to further develop their academic skills, master academic language and literacy strategies and clarify academic expectations in order to help you achieve your academic potential. We do this through providing:
- courses and workshops
- individual consultations
- online guides and learning resources
These resources and workshops will help you further develop your note taking and presentation skills, help you avoid accidental plagiarism and prepare your thesis outlines.
The Academy Library provides a range of services to support its students studying off-campus, including access to high quality electronic resources, home delivery of print materials and online guides and instructional tutorials.
Library staff are on hand to assist you in person, by phone or via the AskUs service should you like to lodge a query. For in depth assistance we can conduct an extended research consultation with you via screen sharing software.
This confidential, free of charge service with a qualified professional clinical psychologist (student counsellor), is designed to support students work through challenges, navigate change, and regain balance. All enrolled UNSW Canberra postgraduate students are entitled to counselling sessions.

Student Administrative Services
Student Administrative Services (SAS) provides students with quality administrative support whilst promoting the academic programs of students and enhancing their educational experience at UNSW Canberra.
They can help answer any questions you might have about admission, scholarships, enrolment, research candidature and graduation.

Information Communication and Technology Services (ICTS)
Information, Communication and Technology Services (ICTS) is the central Information Technology provider for the whole UNSW Canberra campus.
ICTS is a member of the Student and Academic Support Group (SASG) which provides client focused support for the teaching, research, training and administration needs of UNSW Canberra.
Information and Communications and Technology Services is of critical importance to the University in the support of academic enquiry and research, teaching and learning, core business activities and communications. In recognition of this, UNSW Canberra provides computing, email, Internet and communication facilities to its staff and students for the purposes of research, teaching and learning; and to support the administration of the University.
