Accommodation
It is up to individual conference attendees to organise their own accommodation. This page lists a number of options for accommodation, but there are many more options for accommodation in Canberra.
Hotels/Motels
One of the most conveniently located hotels to ADFA is Olims Hotel on the corner of Ainslie and Limestone Avenue. It is roughly 20-25 minutes on foot, 10 minutes by bus and 5 minutes by car from ADFA and is also the venue for the conference reception. Links to Olims and several other accommodation options are listed below. Please note that the actual accommodation prices for July 2006 may vary from those listed.

City Walk Hotel
Prices range from $26 p.p for dorm rooms up to $65 per room for a twin/double and $90 for twin/double motel style room with private bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities,fridge,tv and dailty servicing (extra person $20 each). There is a family rate of $105 for 2 adults and 2 children (under 12). Single rooms with private facilities are $80 per room. Group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast packages available.

Transport
The conference organisers will not be providing any transport apart from a bus ride to and from the dinner.
Airport
Canberra airport is located approximately 4km from ADFA and approximately 8km from the CBD. It is easily accessible by car, taxi and bus. Taxi is probably the preferred option if there is more than one person or if you have luggage. Taxi ranks are located outside the terminal building and fares are approximately $10 -$15 to the CBD.
Buses
There are regular buses from the City Bus Interchange to ADFA with a stop close to Olims (bus no. 40). Bus fares are $2.50 one way (90 mins transfer ticket available upon request at no extra charge) or $1.50 concession. Pay your fare to the bus driver. The bus will drop you off at the roundabout in front of the officer's mess (building 6 on the campus map) at ADFA.

Bus number 40 is the route from the City to ADFA and return.
Parking
There is plenty of free parking available on campus. The best car park option would be on Kapyong Road (map ref 90).
