Scientific ProgramThe main conference sessions will be held in Lecture Theatre 1 (LT01) in the Lecture Theatres South block at ADFA. Registration, morning and afternoon tea and coffee, and the poster sessions will be in held in the same building. A campus map showing the location of the Lecture Theatres South is provided (map ref. 30). Conference parking (free) is available on campus (map ref. 90) For computer based presentations you can connect your own laptop computer to the projector in the lecture theatre or use the computer installed in the lecture theatre. This is a PC running Windows XP Pro. It has PowerPoint 2003 , SP 1 and Adobe Reader 7 installed. You can also bring your presentations on a USB memory stick or CD-ROM to load onto the lecture theatre computer. In order to avoid interruptions and delays to proceedings we will make available an adjacent lecture theatre (LT6) for you to check the compatability of your presentation. This theatre has identical facilities to the conference venue. We request that you try your presentation half an hour before the start of the session (i.e. morning or afternoon) you are speaking in. During this time, someone will be on hand to help with any problems that might arise. The lecture theatre also has video, overhead projector and 35mm slide projection facilities. PapersAll speakers are encouraged to submit papers to the Publications of the Astronomical Society of Australia (PASA) . |
