Forhad is a Research Associate with the School of Engineering and Information Technology, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Canberra. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UNSW, Canberra, and M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Bangladesh.

His research interests include:

  • Power System Optimisation,
  • Evolutionary Algorithm,
  • Constrained and Unconstrained Optimisation,
  • Uncertain Optimisation,
  • Multi-objective Optimisation, and
  • Evolutionary Game Theory.  

He has been involving in teaching with SEIT, UNSW Canberra since 2014, and worked as a university lecturer in the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in RUET, Bangladesh for more than four years.
