Dr Obaid Ur Rehman

Dr. Obaid received the BSc. degree in physics from Karachi University Pakistan, B.E degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering in 2000 from IIEE, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan, the MSc degree in Automatic Control and System Engineering from University of Sheffield, UK in 2004 and the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from University of New South Wales, Australia. He was a control and system engineer from 2012 - 2015 at UNSW Canberra. He is currently working as a  Senior System Engineer in the field of system engineering research at the Capability Systems Centre, UNSW Canberra. He has also worked as a professional engineer and manager from 2000-2008 in the field of control system design, system engineering and electronics engineering in an industry. Some of his research interests are robust nonlinear control and their application to flight vehicles and spacecraft, Industrial control systems, modelling and simulation, signal processing, System engineering, Future Proofing, Test and Evaluation, Life cycle cost analysis and Technological decision making and analysis. His research comes under the School's following main strategic themes:

1. TECHNOLOGY DECISION MAKING.

2. AEROSPACE ENGINEERING.
