Aims and Scope
The University of New South Wales is committed to engage with the region. The Asia Pacific Seminar Series was founded in 2001, as a cross-faculty and interdisciplinary research initiative between the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Physical, Environmental and Mathematical Sciences at the ADFA campus at Canberra. APSS celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2010 and has been supported by HASS, PEMS , Business and the Rector's office. The seminar series have hosted more than 100 papers by leading scholars in the field over the ten years. The seminar series is a unique discussion venue at the UNSW campus at Canberra to share research outcomes and engagement with the Asia Pacific region.
In 2011 the Asia Pacific Seminar Series launched a new format by inviting papers on a yearly theme. We are pleased to advise that key publications have come out of the seminar series.
