Human Rights Defender Workshop on ‘The Military and Human Rights’
What role can—and should—the military play in the promotion of human rights within the armed forces, at home, and abroad? This workshop brings together scholars and practitioners to discuss this and other practical questions concerning the policy and ethical implications of the changing nature of warfare, and of military rights and responsibilities. It will also feature a keynote lecture from Jason Scanes, CEO of Forsaken Fighters.
