Why it is important that the world still reflects on the Rwanda genocide

Professor Toni Erskine's piece was published in The Conversation, Africa on the 6th of April 2017.  The piece was then reprinted in inter alia The Conversation, Australia, The Star (Kenya), and the City Press (South Africa) on 7 April 2017, which marked the 23rd anniversary of the start of the 1994 Rwandan genocide.  The piece was widely read and shared and resulted in Professor Erskine being interviewed on the radio station POWER FM (South Africa) on the programme ‘POWER Zone with Kwena Moabelo’ about why we should remember the Rwandan genocide.  The full text of Professor Erskine’s op-ed can be viewed here.
