On 5 August 2015 UNSW Canberra hosted The Panel Forum: Indians in the Gallipoli Campaign.

Mrs Manpreet Singh, Executive Producer, Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) hosted the Forum and engaged speakers in a stimulating dialogue about the role of Indian troops in the Gallipoli battle in 1915.

The panellists included: 
Professor Jeffrey Grey on The War against the Ottoman Empire
Military Historian, Australian Centre for the Study of Armed Conflict and Society, UNSW Canberra, and President of the Society of Military History.

Professor Daniel Marston on The Indian Army and the Great War
Professor of Military Studies, ANU, and Principal of the Military and Defence Studies Program at the Australian Command and Staff College.

Professor Peter Stanley on Indians and Anzacs on Gallipoli
Research Professor, Australian Centre for the Study of Armed Conflict and Society, UNSW Canberra.

The Forum was followed by the Book Launch: Die in Battle, Do not Despair: the Indians on Gallipoli, 1915 by Professor Peter Stanley.
