11.00am to 11.30pm

PhD scholar Bambang H. Trisasongko will discuss the application of spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data for monitoring rubber plantation and assessing its productivity. The research suggests that fully polarimetric L-band SAR could significantly contribute to the detection of young and maturing stands, estimating tree circumference and tree biomass of mature stands.

This seminar is scheduled to run from 11:00 to 11:30am
