Crystal and magnetic structures and hyperfine interactions for some ternary rare-earth intermetallics

PhD scholar Hatem Saad presents his research, which focuses on the characterisation of the crystal and magnetic structures and hyperfine interactions of some intermetallic magnetic materials, based on rare-earth elements, leading to new knowledge concerning the magnetic structure and mechanisms that govern the magnetic properties. The crystal structure and the magnetic structure characterised by X-ray and Neutron Diffraction (XRD and ND). The magnetic properties investigated by the PPMS (Physical Property Measurement System). The hyperfine parameters at Gd nuclei identified by 155Gd Mössbauer spectroscopy at different temperatures.
