Applying for Postgraduate Research Degree Programs
Once you have determined the degree you wish to apply for by consulting
the List of Available Programs (see the Postgraduate
Coursework & Research Opportunities Guide
)
you need to apply for admission to UNSW.
Online Applications
All applicants wishing to gain entry to a postgraduate research program are able to apply online from Semester 2, 2007 onwards. This online application will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. To apply online go to myUNSW.
Paper-based Applications
Applicants may choose to apply using the paper-based UNSW @ADFA Application form. This application is made directly to UNSW@ADFA and should be sent to:

Applicants will normally be advised whether they have been accepted into a program of study within three weeks of lodging an application form. In the case of international applicants, contact is made on a case-by-case and as-needs basis. International students should allow up to six months for processing of a student visa and for arranging travel.
Closing Dates
| 20 January | Research applications for Semester 1 (March). |
| 20 June | All applications for mid-year (July) intake. |
Late applications will be accepted only in special circumstances to be determined by the College authorities.
A late application is likely to result in late enrolment for which a penalty fee may apply (currently $250). Students will be advised individually of any penalty charges.
