Chief of Defence Force Student Programs (CDFSP)

Bachelor of Arts (CDF Students Program) - commencing 2006

In first year, students will be introduced to research in Arts disciplines and will be offered significant extensions to the ideas and analysis performed in the standard program. This will allow the CDF students to undertake research projects at the appropriate level in their later years, thereby more fully integrating research into the standard undergraduate degree. The individual projects undertaken in close association with academic staff on research topics of mutual interest underpin the program and give students the opportunity to develop to their full potential.

Duration: 3 years

Entrance requirements: The minimum Tertiary Entrance Index would be equivalent to a UAI of 95. At the discretion of the relevant Head of School, BA students could transfer to the BA(CDF) upon completion of 24 units of credit with an overall WAM of 80 or greater. BA(CDF) students must normally maintain a WAM of 80 or higher to remain in the program.
