Ceremonies

Please do not refer to the myUNSW site for other graduation information and arrangements as the information refers to ceremonies being undertaken at the Kensington campus.

The 2008 Degree Conferring Ceremonies will take place on Wednesday, 10 December 2008 in Adams Hall, Australian Defence Force Academy.

Morning Ceremony: (commences 10.00am)
- Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Business
- Graduate Programs (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters) – Arts, Arts (English), Defence Studies, Management Studies
- Research Degrees – PhDs in Economics, Management, English. Literature. Language, History, Politics, Geography (candidates should check the appropriate ceremony), and Master of Arts

Afternoon Ceremony: (commences 2.30pm)
- Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Bachelor of Technology
- Graduate Programs (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters) – Science, Engineering Science, Information Technology, Operations Research and statistics
- Research Degrees – PhDs in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Oceanography, Geography (candidates should check the appropriate ceremony), Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Master of Science and Master of Engineering

On Graduation Day

• All graduands should ensure that they have registered at the Registration Desk in the foyer of Adams Hall between 9:00 am and 9:30am if attending the morning ceremony and between 1:30pm and 2:00pm if attending the afternoon ceremony.
• All graduands should ensure that they are seated in Adams Hall no later than 9:30am if attending the morning ceremony and 2:00pm for the afternoon ceremony. Graduands who are not seated by these times will be graduated in absentia and will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.
• All guests should be seated no later than 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the ceremony.
