Continuing Students
In 2009 many changes were implemented that affect current students at UNSW@ADFA from 2010. Namely;
The merger of the School of Aero, Civil and Mechanical Engineering (ACME) and the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE) to form the School of Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT). As a result of this merger most ZACM and ZITE coded courses have been changed to the new ZEIT code.
"Degree Simplification" which have required:
- the removal of Minors,
- the removal of Directed Studies requirements,
- changes to the General Eduation requirements,
- the recoding of some ZBUS and ZHSS courses into Level III courses, and
- the removal of most 3 Unit of Credit courses.
Current Undergraduate Students have the following options:
- Swap into the new Program Rules
which are available on the online UNSW Handbook at http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au
(Faculty = "University College")
- Continue to follow the pre-2010 Degree Program rules
Students who choose to remain in the pre-2010 program rules should refer to the following information sheets which will assist with applying the course changes to their pre-existing program requirements.
