Disclosure of Personal Information for Defence Funded Students
As you may be aware, the University of New South Wales signed a new Agreement with the Commonwealth in December 2003, under which a quota has been placed on the number of postgraduate coursework places to be funded by Defence.
To facilitate implementation of this new arrangement, special arrangements will apply for all commencing Defence Sponsored Students at postgraduate coursework level. These special arrangements require students to identify themselves by consenting to the disclosure of personal information by the University College of the University of New South Wales to the Department of Defence. Students who fail to provide this consent by the nominated date will be deemed to be full-fee paying students and will be liable for a fee of $305 per Unit of Credit.
Please read the UNSW@ADFA Privacy Information Flyer
and complete the relevant acknowledgement form:
- Undergraduate Students - Acknowledgement in regard to disclosure and use of personal information

- Postgraduate Students - Acknowledgement in regard to disclosure and use of personal information

Defence will formally notify students that they have been accepted for Sponsorship in Session One, 2005 and will provide advice regarding arrangements for Session Two, 2005
.
