Completion scholarships are only
available to current postgraduate research students (part-time
or full-time) whose completion can be confidently predicted by
the Supervisor and the School to occur within six months of the
award, and who have a satisfactory progress review and research
output normally expected of a candidate within 6 months of completion.
Completion Scholarships are for full-time study only and awardees
will be paid a stipend at the rate of $18,000 per annum for a
maximum of six months (or until date of submission, whichever
is earlier) and are not renewable. |

Research Publication Fellowships |

Research Publication Fellowships are available to PhD students who have submitted their thesis within 3.5 years of the commencement of their candidature. These Fellowships are designed to enable students to complete papers for publication while awaiting the results of thesis examination. |

research students to travel overseas to conduct activities that
are relevant to the completion of their research. | |

Bushfire CRC |

| Bushfire CRC scholarship support is available
to outstanding students interested in a career in bushfire research,
to undertake further study in an area of bushfire research central
to the CRC's research program. The Bushfire CRC is a seven year,
multidisciplinary, $100 million dollar national research program
in partnership with fire agencies, governments and universities
that began in 2003. The research program covers fire behaviour
and management of fire in the landscape and also examines social
and economic aspects of busfire.
