Ethics

UNSW@ADFA has a Human Research Ethics Advisory (HREA) panel which acts under delegated authority of the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) of the University of New South Wales. The primary goal of the HREA panel is to facilitate ethical human research activities at UNSW@ADFA.

HREA panels will evaluate research projects deemed to have 'minimal ethical impact' upon humans. The HREA committee considers projects with external grant support, multi-institutional research projects and projects being conducted on behalf of a commercial sponsor.

Meeting Schedule:

Panel meetings are held on the first Monday of each month (starting February), but any urgent request for consideration of an ethics application can be processed through email discussion.
