Capability Systems Centre

Expertly Addressing the Challenges of Developing Capability

All organisations, large or small, undertake the development of capability and the acquisition of capability systems. This includes systems science, systems thinking, complex systems, system of systems, systems engineering, requirements engineering and project management.

Yet, though these processes are crucial, little research on the actual development of capability exists, which means there are few methodologies, tools or techniques. And this is where the Capability Systems Centre at UNSW Canberra can help. Our major focus is to address these shortfalls combining a range of disciplines relevant to the development of capability.

We draw on world-class academic expertise, focussing our activities on systems acquisition through cutting-edge research and analysis, publications, education and events.
