Cyber Security Hypothetical – Panel
The cyber security environment is dynamic and challenging. Trying to articulate a future strategic picture is difficult, particularly the dedication of scarce security resources to protect defence, government and private sector networks against malicious attack.
Our moderator will start proceedings by positing a cyber-scenario to our esteemed panel, who will draw upon their particular expertise and background, to examine the ‘what if’ in relation to cyber-attack. This will provide a means for understanding what we would do if faced with a malicious cyber event and the effect such an event might have on Australia. It will assist our understanding of risk and help us plan and create a new and better internet-enabled future.
We invite you to join us on 22 October, in challenging paradigms and provoking discussion around this important topic that impacts and targets us all.
Cyber Security Hypothetical will be led and moderated by Mr Steve Wilson and panellists will include MAJGEN Marcus Thompson, Professor Michael Frater, Mr Alastair MacGibbon, Ms Kate Carruthers and Mr Justin Warren.
More information of the Cyber Security Hypothetical will be posted on our events page in the upcoming weeks.
