The Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security Operations is a postgraduate award offered by the School of Engineering and Information Technology. It is designed for postgraduate scholars and professional managers with appropriate undergraduate qualifications in management or a related discipline and/or extensive relevant professional experience who wish to gain a more detailed understanding of the managerial and technical skills and expertise relevant to planning, operation and acquisition of the cyber security function. The Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security Operations is designed to meet the demand for executives and managers who oversee the cyber security function in government, industry, law enforcement and Defence. It provides principles gathered from information systems, cyber security, risk, management and governance for managers seeking to enhance their career in cyber security operations.

Students undertaking GradCert in Cyber Security Operations are required to complete 24 Units of Credit (UOC) by completing four 6-UOC courses from the list in the Handbook entry for the program (see the list in Course Availability below).
In the GradCert in Cyber Security Operations program, students must complete at least 12UOC, up to a maximum of 24 UOC of the core courses and can complete up to a maximum of 12 UOC of the elective courses.
Important Information - Job Ready Graduates Package
This Graduate Certificate is available to domestic students only.
Under the Australian Government's Job Ready Graduates Package, domestic students commencing in 2021 can access the CSP fee rate for the 4 courses (24 units of credit) in either Semester 1 or 2, 2021.
Through the Job Ready Graduates Package, a limited number of CSP fee supported places are offered in 2021 for eligible domestic students in this Graduate Certificate.
