Dr Lisa Carson

Lisa Carson is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Public Service Research Group in the School of Business at UNSW. Her research focuses on the complexities of translating policy into practice at local, national and international levels. Her research crosses boundaries of policy analysis, feminist and gender studies, political science, international relations, institutionalist theory and sociology among others. She is an active member of several civil society organisations, most notably Young Women's International League for Peace & Freedom and the Australian Civil Society on Women, Peace & Security. Lisa holds a PhD and Masters in International Relations from the University of Melbourne, First Class Honours from RMIT and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
