Competencies for Effective Public Sector Reform

Emerging from previous 'Whole of Government' research, we identified the need to better understand the role of Boundary Spanning and the competencies it requires in terms of the implementation of public sector reform.   We argue that the problem in much public sector reform is not in the design but the complexity for those involved in its enactment. This research has attracted an exploratory grant from the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
