Rizwan is a passionate believer in continuous organisational improvement and has worked, for 15 years, in innovation management, organisational transformation, and project management. In his experience, Rizwan witnessed technology and process transformations and their influence on people in large-scale and complex initiatives. Rizwan's journey through, successful, and sometimes humbling, experiences has left him curious explore these organisational contexts in his research.

RIzwan completed his Masters in Philosophy (Business) from University of New South Wales (Canberra). Rizwan's research focussed on determining "Applicability" of an International standards for innovation management on Canberra start-ups. The research focussed on the Fuzzy Front End (FFE) of innovation. Building on this, Rizwan's research interests are in exploring the interplay between structures, within organisations, and innovativeness.

Rizwan is passionate about teaching and has tutored Project Management, Leadership and Organisational Behaviour courses at the Undergraduate and Post-Graduate level.
