Mr. Hadi Noori

Hadi Noori is a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, researching on international development policy, the role of international non-government organisations (INGOs), and development ownership in rural Afghanistan under the supervision of Associate Professor Minako Sakai. His research interests include social capital, participatory development, Community-Driven Development (CDD), and development ownership in South and Central Asia. Prior to his study at UNSW Canberra, Noori has worked as a researcher and consultant with international NGOs such as OXFAM and Save the Children. He also served as a lecturer of business administration in Rabia Balkh University, Afghanistan.
