Distributed Artificial Intelligence Agents for Computational Red Teaming

Over the years, we have developed state-of-the-art distributed multi-agent system capable of modelling reciprocal competitive interactions between blue and red teams.

Our systems can reason in real-time and explain emerging behaviours. This project will design distributed artificial intelligence algorithms for the agents within our system.

The candidate needs have strong skills in at least two of the following areas:

  • deep learning,
  • cognitive architectures,
  • reasoning using grangular causality, and
  • evolutionary optimisation.

Self-interest to develop computational skills around ethics and trust assurance of AI algorithms would be an advantage. The candidate will work closely with Prof. Hussein Abbass team at UNSW-Canberra and will contribute to the multi-agent system platform developed in the group.
