My goal as a researcher, educator, entrepreneur and global citizen is to develop new ways to solve the challenges we all face every day; from the big issues like global climate change, to the more mundane like helping get your uber where it needs to go quicker. Miniaturised satellite platforms are disrupting models for space innovation and research, and they provide some exciting options to achieve these goals. They also raise new (less well known) questions, like how do we develop these new systems in a sustainable way without irreparably littering the near-Earth space environment.
