Author and lexicographer Peter Bowler was born in 1934 in Dubbo. An author in his spare time, he worked for forty years in education policy and management in the public and private sectors. As well as his books about words (the Superior Person’s series), his published works span a variety of topics including child development (Your Child From One to Ten), cults and sects (The True Believers), and extraordinary deaths (What a Way to Go!)
