Organisational History

The Melbourne small press Nosukumo was formed by Javant Biarujia and Susan Rachmann in 1981, joined two years later by Ian C Birks. Operating until 1995, the company published works such as The Carrionflower writ from 1985-1990 as well as limited editions of books including Autumn silks by Javant Biarujia, Thunder Road, Thunder Heart by Peter Bakowski and Labassa by Ian C Birks
