ADF Current Serving Members

Defence Civilian Undergraduate Sponsorship (DCUS)

The Department of Defence offers the Defence Civilian Undergraduate Sponsorship (DCUS) scheme for aspiring students* wishing to pursue a Computing and Cyber Security or Engineering degree at UNSW Canberra.  

Have your tuition covered, gain access to paid work experience, and enter the workforce HECS-HELP debt-free.

Non-Defence Students

If you’re keen to gain practical experience working alongside defence, government, and industry, our specialist non-defence degrees could be for you.   

UNSW Canberra offers degrees in Engineering, double degrees in Engineering and Science, and a range of single-year honours programs for non-defence undergraduate students.   




UNSW offers a wide range of scholarships and funding to both domestic and international students, at all levels of study. Exceptional research candidates can apply for scholarships to undertake a higher degree by research. Scholarships may include an annual stipend, tuition fee payment and student health cover.
